Easton Baseball / Softball

Easton is Sports Engineering!

Baseball bat technology is constantly changing for the better and Easton continues to stay ahead of the pack. Their commitment to continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and setting the standard when it comes to high-performance equipment is impressive.

As Easton says, "Innovation is the foundation of our success." believes that's a solid foundation and here is why. Easton is already the number one bat in college baseball, and now they have added a new design to their BBCOR baseball bats: the Z-CORE Load & Load.

Advanced innovations that Easton has created in the past to help amplify your power at home plate include the TORQ technology and their patented piece.

As if that wasn't enough, Easton has taken it to a whole other level and constructed something that has never been done before. Their latest and greatest creation in the Lock & Load adjustable swing weight technology.

Headquartered in Van Nuys, California, Easton Sports has been manufacturing a wide range of top quality sports equipment used by elite athletes across all sports for over 40 years. Originally founded as a manufacturer of bows and arrows, Easton entered the world of baseball and softball bats in 1969, quickly becoming an industry leader and remaining popular today.

Easton has had more than its’ share of groundbreaking innovations throughout its history. In fact, Easton was one of the first adopters of aluminum bat technology. Although Easton did not invent the concept of an aluminum bat, it expanded the definition thereof. Their bats were lighter, more durable and produced better results than any of their competitors at the time. Their bats quickly gained popularity in junior leagues and collegiate sports, but simply performed at too high a level for the major leagues.

Easton was also the first company to introduce the two-piece bat to softball in the early 90s. Two-piece bats created more flex than their single piece counterparts to maximize the effects of contact with a ball and allow for an incredible level of performance. The flexible structure of the bats also reduced negative feedback to make swinging away more comfortable than ever before.

Around the same time, Easton also created titanium bats, which were even lighter and hotter than the best aluminum or composite bats at the time. They were quickly outlawed in many leagues due to their astounding performance capabilities, and so Easton quickly responded with bats made of an industry-new metal called scandium which delivered comparable improvement in performance while still meeting the exit speed guidelines of many organizations.

Due to its’ ever progressive nature and commitment to improvement, Easton has seen its’ market share and influence steadily grow since its origins as a bat making upstart, consistently generating some of the finest offerings available.
