HIT a Double is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, or keyboard-only navigation. We are actively working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which is the generally accepted standard for measuring web accessibility.

Accessibility on the web is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix. While we have made real improvements to our site and continue to test and correct issues as we find them, we cannot guarantee that every page is fully free of accessibility barriers at all times. If you run into a problem, we want to know about it — see the Feedback section below.

What we've done

As part of our ongoing accessibility review, we have tested key areas of our site — including our homepage, search results, collection pages, product pages, shopping cart, and other informational content pages (such as sizing charts and shipping information) — using both automated accessibility scanning tools and manual review, and have corrected issues found along the way, including:

• Adding proper labels to search fields and buttons so screen readers can identify them correctly
• Correcting color contrast issues on pricing and interface text
• Adding accessible labeling to sale and regular pricing so screen reader users can tell them apart
• Fixing broken or missing accessible names on links and interactive elements
• Correcting invalid ARIA markup found during testing
• Reviewing images across the site for missing alternative (alt) text and adding descriptive alt text so screen reader users know what an image shows — including product photos, sizing charts, staff and location photos, and shipping maps

Image alt text

We've completed a site-wide review of image alt text across our pages and corrected missing alt text wherever the source image was available to describe. In the small number of cases where an image could not be described — for example, a file that no longer loads from its original source — we removed reliance on that image rather than leave a screen reader user with a meaningless label. We also use dedicated tools to keep alt text current on our product catalog as new products are added, and we continue to review collection and product images on an ongoing basis.

Ongoing monitoring

We periodically re-test our site — including after theme updates, new app installations, or major feature changes — and aim to review it at least once every three months.
