I ordered these socks for our 14U baseball team and although we used the size chart I have found this year Champro runs big. My son wears a 10.5-11 men’s and the heel of this sock comes past his heel onto the bottom of his calf when he pulls the footbed of the sock snug to his foot. He would’ve preferred a M rather than the Large as with most of our team who all wears between 8.5-11.5 shoes. I was disappointed the plastic holders Champro used to secure the sock to the packaging left little holes/snags in some of the socks after being cut away. The most disappointing thing is the socks design does not match up and the stripes also hit much higher than assumed by stock photos, especially with the socks running so big. You can see in my one picture how the stripe seam is staggered and although pretty minimum looking here, when it’s stretched more on a leg it is more noticeable. We will have to place the stripes where we want on the mid/upper calf to be seen with our knickers and fold the excess sock down at the ankle, which is what I’ve done in my sons picture. Its hard to see because of the navy color, but you can see in the toe area it’s still a little big and the yellow heel is missing because we’ve folded the navy leg portion down to handle the excess sock. We got these socks on sale for $5.09 each so it’s all fine for such a great deal because the quality material and thickness of the sock seems fantastic. It’s my first time ordering from this company and this brand so not sure if the design issue is just this lot and maybe that’s why they’re priced so low or it’s a common manufacturer issue, but if we had paid the $15-17 for other brands and received this I would be very disappointed. The sizing running bug seems to be with the brand overall as all of our knickers we ordered through a different company were a size to big too. I did message this company about the issues with the socks and never received any communication back.
