Chromium Casting Fishing Reel

New 2025 Feather Chromium Reel - Only 6 ounces!

Built for serious anglers, the Chromium Feather is the next evolution of Kistler's battle-tested reel—now 1.5 ounce lighter, yet just as tough. Developed by Kistler founder Trey Kistler and reel expert Beau Reed, this reel blends cutting-edge design with proven durability.

The frame is engineered and cut from a solid block of aluminum with a 4 part carbon fiber drag system, Japanese stainless steel bearings, and upgraded internal components, it delivers superior free-spool, stronger drag (up to 19 lbs), and buttery-smooth casting. With corrosion-resistant materials, a reinforced gear system, and precision-tuned centrifugal brakes, the Chromium Feather thrives under pressure.

From flipping and pitching to power fishing, this reel is built to perform—day in, day out.
